Celebrate Thanksgiving Eve with a Candle-Making Party! Gather your friends and family and join us at Cedar Creek Candles for a festive, hands-on candle-making workshop filled with holiday fun!
Special Thanksgiving Eve Feature: Create a one-of-a-kind candle using our holiday-themed wax embeds!
Ever wondered how to combine fragrances to create the perfect scent? This workshop is the perfect chance to experiment and discover your fragrance style. Our experienced candle artisans will introduce you to the basics of fragrance blending, including different fragrance families and how to mix scents into a beautifully balanced custom blend.
Choose from our fragrance library of 60 seasonal and base scents to create something uniquely yours. Each guest will make one custom fragrance blend with guidance from our candle artisans, then pour a 16- to 72-ounce candle to take home.
Want more than one candle? You can make additional candles during the workshop—the choice is yours!
A Few Things to Know:
- Candles will cool overnight and be ready for pickup on Friday.
- Reservations are $25 per person, plus the container fee ($15–$125, depending on the vessel you choose).
- Arrive 10–15 minutes early to select your container, find your seat, and get settled.
- Enjoy complimentary pre-Thanksgiving treats and beverages.
- B.Y.O.B. is welcome (no hard liquor, please).
- After class, shop our retail store and enjoy 20% off your purchases as our thank-you! Discount excludes candle vessels.

Thanksgiving Eve Candle Workshop

- Age Limitations: All candle workshops at Cedar Creek Candles are 18 and older unless otherwise stated.
- Punctuality: Sometimes life happens and it causes us to run behind, we've all been there! Please arrived 10 to 15 minutes before the start of your workshop to find a seat. All workshops start on-time.
- Cancellation Policy: At this time, we don't offer refunds for our candle workshops. We would gladly accommodate a reschedule of any workshop with notice 48 hours before your workshop or an in-store credit for the cost of the workshop.
- Auditing A Workshop: We request that all who attend our workshop are pre-registered. We understand some people like to tag along to watch the workshop and chat with their friends, but our workshop can only accommodate so many.
- Candle Pick-Up: The candles you craft at Cedar Creek Candles will cure overnight and will be available for pick-up the following day. We will hold your candle creation up to a week after your workshop, so please make arrangements accordingly. If you're able to come back to pick-up, we have shipping available.
