Join us for an exciting wax melt workshop! In this workshop, you will create 5-ounce wax melts using various candle molds, including shapes like hearts, stars, flowers, and dots. You'll also have the opportunity to add glitter, mica, and candle dye to personalize your creations. Each participant will receive a recyclable, ice cream-style container to take home their melts. The workshop will last approximately one hour and ten minutes.
Our wax melts are made with 100% natural soy wax and high-quality fragrance oils (phthalate free). Our soy wax is vegan, is natural and eco-friendly. Due to the use of 100% natural soy wax, some frosting may occur on the wax melt, but this will not affect the quality and use of the wax melt.
Color: Some of the fragrance can turn the white wax to a beige or yellow color. If you are looking for just white color contact me before your purchase.
Use: our wax melts can be used in an electric wax warmer or tealight wax warmer.
Have you always been curious about mixing and matching different scents to find the perfect one? This is the opportunity to discover the fun of crafting your signature candle. In our workshop, you'll learn the basics of fragrance blending.
We will explore the different fragrance families and experiment to make that one perfect scent. Choose from the Cedar Creek fragrance library of 80 base scents to create a uniquely you scent. Each participant will create one custom blend, guided by our candle chandlers, and then pour your candle. You can make additional candles if desired. All candle creations will solidify overnight in our workshop and be available for pick-up the following day.
All workshops are B.Y.O.B (unless otherwise stated); feel free to bring adult beverages (except no hard liquor, please) and snacks for your workshop. We provide a charcuterie-style snack box for each guest + canned soda and bottled water. For an additional charge, seasonal beverages (iced tea, sparkling lemonade, hot chocolate, coffee) can be provided. For details, please talk with our candle staff at least 24 hours before. Wine glasses, bottle openers, and ice buckets are available for use.
Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes before the start of your workshop. This will allow you time to grab your seat, and enjoy snacks before class begins. Mingle with your friends or make new ones with fellow candlemakers! We DO NOT allow late admission past 15 minutes. If you arrive later than that, we will ask you to reschedule.
This workshop is for 12 year and up. We will be handling fragrance oils and hot wax.

- Age Limitations: All candle workshops at Cedar Creek Candles are 16 and older unless otherwise stated.
- Punctuality: Sometimes life happens and it causes us to run behind, we've all been there! Please arrived 10 to 15 minutes before the start of your workshop to find a seat. All workshops start on-time.
- Cancellation Policy: At this time, we don't offer refunds for our candle workshops. We would gladly accommodate a reschedule of any workshop with notice 48 hours before your workshop or an in-store credit for the cost of the workshop.
- Auditing A Workshop: We request that all who attend our workshop are pre-registered. We understand some people like to tag along to watch the workshop and chat with their friends, but our workshop can only accommodate so many.
- Candle Pick-Up: The candles you craft at Cedar Creek Candles will cure overnight and will be available for pick-up the following day. We will hold your candle creation up to a week after your workshop, so please make arrangements accordingly. If you're able to come back to pick-up, we have shipping available.
